Is WYDOT Preparing For A Move?

Possible future site of a new WYDOT facility on the corner of 5th Street and East Ridge Road.

Approximately five years ago the Wyoming Department of Transportation purchased land on the corner of 5th Street and East Ridge Road in Sheridan. WYDOT Public Involvement Specialist Ronda Holwell explains that excavation work has begun on the site for a possible move in the future.

Wall Street Woes Means More Dough For UW Buildings

Wall Street plunge will benefit the University of Wyoming.

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The market plunge on Wall Street turned out to be a financial boon for the University of Wyoming. UW just happened to be offering $44.3 million in revenue bonds Thursday to pay for two building projects on campus and to refinance a previous bond issue at a better interest rate.

Rosie Berger to Run Again

Rosie Berger has officially announced that she is running for her fifth term as Representative for House District 51 in Big Horn. Berger says that the decision came after much prayer and thought, finally determining that there is more for her to do, especially where the state budget is concerned.

Wyoming Princess Applications Available

The 2010 Miss Wyoming Scholarship Pageant is coming up the first week in June, and nine contestants will be vying for the crown, currently worn by Anna Nelson of Rock Springs.
