“Wildlife on the Wind”

Sunday afternoon, Sheridan became the eleventh stop of a twelve-stop book tour across Wyoming for author Bruce Smith.  But sad to say, not one soul showed up at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library for the presentation and book signing of his second book, “Wildlife on the Wind.”

In the Spirit of Giving

Saturday morning, Adopt-A-Block Sheridan teamed up with the local youth group, “Chosen” to hand out 50 turkeys and all the fixings to those less fortunate who reside at Woodland Park Village and in the Avoca Apartments in Sheridan. 

Honor Flight Wyoming Receives $20,000

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Honor Flight Wyoming has received a $20,000 donation from oil and gas industry operators to help send World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. Devon Energy and QEP Resources each pledged $10,000 for the effort.

WYOMING SUPER 25 FOOTBALL TEAM - Five players from Sheridan county have landed on this year's Super 25 football team with three Sheridan Broncs and two Big Horn Rams making the 2010 team.

Named to the Super 25 this year's list includes senior All-state offensive and defensive lineman Kyle Hutchinson, All-state linebacker Dawson Osborn who was also named 4-A defensive player of the year along with Osborn and Hutchinson is Zack Will who made All-state as a wide out, defensive back and return specialist.

City of Buffalo to Contractor: Fix Street Cuts

Street cuts made on Fetterman Street by the contractor building the new Criminal Justice Center have not been fixed, and the Buffalo City Council last week sent a letter giving the contractor until November 30th to get them fixed.

Turnout for Senior Bazaar "Disappointing"

Attendance at the Buffalo Senior Center's Holiday Bazaar Craft Show Friday and Saturday was less than hoped, but Activities Director Sally Frost said the weather may have had something to do with the turnout.

Buffalo Woman 'Schoolboard Member of the Year'
