Advocacy And Resource Center To Hold Opening Doors Home Tour In Early December

The Advocacy and Resource Center in Sheridan will be holding a fundraiser Sunday December 6th that will allow people the opportunity to tour various homes in the Sheridan area. Jeannie Hall with the Advocacy and Resource Center explains the tour.

Lake DeSmet Counties Coalition Continues Talks with Developer

The Lake DeSmet Counties Coalition held their November meeting Wednesday afternoon in Sheridan. Sheridan County Commissioner Bob Rolston is a member, and he says that a major project is about to wrap up.

Rolston says the bypass gate at the Piney Diversion is also complete.

Dayton Town Council Enters Into Contract with Tongue River Valley Community Center

There was only one agenda item to address at last night's Dayton Town Council meeting. Council entered into a contract to cover the utilities for six months, or the remainder of this Fiscal Year, on the newly renovated Tongue River Valley Community Center, which is housed in the old Tongue River High School building.

Bid Made to Buy Northern Wyoming Ski Area

POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - Three Powell residents have signed an agreement to purchase the Antelope Butte Ski Area and are seeking approval from the U.S. Forest Service.

Wednesday City Council Work Session Discusses Transportation Plan Survey Results

A Sheridan Transportation Policy Plan was presented at the Sheridan City Council noontime work session yesterday. Jeremy Klop with Fehr & Peers out of Denver, Colorado went over the results of the past three public input meetings that have been held over the past month. He is heartened by the response.

Sheridan Senior Center Kicks Off Annual Holiday Spirit Campaign

Fundraising efforts have begun at the Sheridan Senior Center for the Holiday Spirit Campaign. Rindy West, Development Director for the Center, tells us more.

And Rindy reminds us that the Sr. Center is truly a community center for people of all ages to use and enjoy.

Saws Board Still Undecided On Future Of Administrator Position

The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board is still pondering what to do about the Administrator position. The Board agreed to form a sub-committee that will work on the County's proposal that was brought forth last month.

Saws Moves Forward With Proposed Rate Changes

The rate structure for SAWS customers will likely be changing in the next couple of months as the board approved moving forward with a two-tiered rate structure. The two-tier system will raise the base rate a bit for the casual user, and decrease the rate for the large users. SAWS Administrator Dave Engles.
