Railroad Crossing to be Closed Tomorrow

Officials with the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad would like residents in the area of County Road 161, known as the Dow Prong Railroad Crossing to be aware that the crossing will be out tomorrow from 10 am to 2 pm. BNSF will be conducting maintenance on the railroad tracks.

Sheridan County School District 1 To Embark on a Starry Adventure

The Sheridan County School District 1 Board of Trustees met last night for their November meeting. Typically, the board meets on Tuesdays, but several members are going to be attending the State School Board meeting in Casper tomorrow, so they moved the November meeting to a day earlier.

Governor Freudenthal, Corporate Officials Salute Pipeline

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Gov. Dave Freudenthal plans to join corporate officials in Cheyenne to mark the recent completion of the Rockies Express Pipeline. The newly completed pipeline will carry natural gas from Wyoming and elsewhere to the Midwest. It starts in Colorado and passes through Wyoming before ending in Ohio.

City of Sheridan to Discuss Draft Policy Plan at Transportation Planning Workshop

The third in a series of public workshops on community transportation planning will be held this evening from 5:30 to 7 at the Highland Park Recreation Facility, 1301 Avon.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital to Host Wyoming Worksite Wellness Workshop

The Wyoming Department of Health has partnered with nine communities in the state to conduct Worksite Wellness Workshops, and Thursday, December 3rd will be the day a workshop will be held in Sheridan.

Sheridan County Museum to Host Tidbit's Old-Fashioned Christmas

Sheridan City Council Makes Decision On Bar And Grill Licenses

The City of Sheridan renews liquor licenses on an annual basis. At their last meeting, they renewed all but two of those licenses, with the exception being the bar and grill licenses that are currently held by Progressive Development and the New York Store.
