It took just two minutes on Friday evening for Senior Drew Slikker, on senior night, to score his first goal of the season as the 2nd ranked Sheridan Broncs downed the No. 3 Kelly Walsh Trojans on Scott Field - a field that was covered with 3-inches of snow earlier in the day. All Aboard - We're Heading South

Despite the winter like weather in Sheridan Jacey Repsis, Hailey Ligocki and the rest of the Lady Broncs boarded the bus Friday morning for the last regular season soccer road trip. The Lady Broncs have a game at Laramie on Saturday at 10:00 & noon. Then it will be the game against KW that was postponed because of the weather until Tuesday at 6:00 pm in Casper.

WYODOT was out in force Thursday morning in their bright yellow convoy of vehicles laying down yellow and white stripes on Coffeen Avenue - just another sure sign that spring has sprung. Safe Routes will lead to this new Big Horn School

Thanks to a $200,000 Safe Routes to School project grant, construction of sidewalks and crosswalks near the Big Horn School campus when completed will provide for safer walks to the new Big Horn Elementary School when it is completed. At present the new school appears to be "reaching for the skies" as it emerges from the ground.

The old Seney's Drug store at 38 S. Main Street in Buffalo, now called the Udder House, may help revive those good old days from the past with a refreshment from their 7-stool soda fountain. Jennifer, seen here behind the counter, served us two sodas and the special of the day, calzone, but they also serve ice cream, fresh pizza, breads, soups and pasta.

The 38th Shrine Bowl rosters have been set

Eight High School football players from Sheridan County have been selected to the 2011 Shrine Bowl North team rosters. Selected to the North team starting roster are: Michael Klepperich, Wyatt Mirich and Nelson Alzheimer of Big Horn and Kyle Hutchinson, Dawson Osborn and Zach Will from Sheridan.

The Sheridan Broncs jumped on the Campbell County (Gillette) Camels twice in the first 10-minutes Tuesday night and never looked back as they made it three wins in a row. The final score seen here came midway through the 2nd half when Colby Wollenman took control of the ball, punching it past Camel's Brandon Swan and goalie Jordan Rueschoff. "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" on the TRHS Stage

Most of the cast members of the Tongue River High School Drama Department production of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" were on stage in the Act two, Scene five trial of the Knave of Hearts seen here. Beautiful Weather for a Track Meet

This last Saturday April 17th. the Sheridan varsity track team headed to billings to compete against the Montana schools. When the team arrived everybody was ready to go out a run hard. The weather was great staying in the mid 50's all day with little wind and clouds.

Broncs Go "Two for Two"

On a day marked by sunshine and warmer weather for a change the Sheridan Broncs notched their 2nd win in as many days as they shut out Cheyenne Central 4 to 0. For their first score near the 27:30 minute mark of the 1st half Riley Ryan passed to Kurt Price right in front of the goal but Price's shot was blocked by Central's goalie James Segrave.

SHS Wind Ensemble on Stage

Thursday evening the Sheridan High School auditorium was filled with the sound of music as the Band Department presented "A Festival Concert." In addition to the Wind Ensemble shown here the Symphonic Band performed where such numbers as Blaze of Glory and Sedona could be heard.

The Double Overtime Winning SCORE

Sheridan Bronc Senior Zack Will kicks this ball in for a score at the 3:17 mark of the 2nd overtime period on Thursday night against the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds to put his team up 3 to 2. Cheyenne couldn't respond in the final 3:13 and the Broncs came away with the win over the 4th ranked Thunderbirds.
