Wyoming overcomes Waves in Overtime, 86 to 82

LARAMIE, Wyo.(AP) -- A.J. Davis scored 20 points as Wyoming edged Pepperdine 86-82 in overtime Sunday in the World Vision Basketball Challenge.

The Cowboys (3-4) lost a 13-point second-half lead but outscored the Waves 7-3 in overtime for their lone victory of the tournament.

Wyoming Cowboys 67, Hampton Pirates 78

Wyoming loses for the 2nd straight night in the World Vision Challenge Tournment being held at the AA in Laramie. The Cowboys' lost to the Hampton Pirates 67 to 78.

University of Montana 61, South Dakota State 48

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -Marc Mariani scored his third touchdown of the game on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Selle with 1:08 to play Saturday to cap a 27-point second-half comeback and give top-seeded Montana a 61-48 victory over South Dakota State in the first round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.

The Wyoming Cowboy Basketball Team Defeats the Boise State Broncos, 87 to 61

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -Djibril Thiam scored 19 points as Wyoming ran past Boise State 87-61 Saturday night.

The Cowboys (2-1) used an aggressive full-court press to force 23 turnovers that resulted in 31 points.

Afam Muojeke scored 18 points for Wyoming, followed by Adam Waddell with 16 and Desmar Jackson with 11.

Wyoming falls to TCU, 45 to 10

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Matthew Tucker and Joseph Turner each ran for two touchdowns, and No. 4 TCU routed Wyoming 45-10 on Saturday for the Horned Frogs' best start in 71 years.
