08/19/09 Sports for Wednesday

SHS GOLF - The high school golf season opens tomorrow at Kendrick Golf Course as Sheridan High School hosts the first tournament of the season. The Sheridan Invitational will be played Thursday and Friday. The Broncs come into the season as the defending State Champions and the good news is, the entire Bronc lineup is back to defend the title.

SHS TENNIS - The high school fall sports season is open and ready for business the Sheridan high school tennis courts were full of players yesterday as they get ready to open their season.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs enter week two of pre-season drills week one went pretty well head coach Don Julian. One area of concern coming into this season was going to be the offensive line Julian says that group had a good

8/15/09 Sports for Saturday

LOCAL SPORTS- The Sheridan Bronc Football team will wrap up two a day practice today. They'll get a much needed rest tomorrow, then it's back to the grind for the Broncs on Monday. Tongue River, Big Horn and NSI will have their first practices on Monday. All high school sports practices begin Monday, including volleyball, tennis, golf, cross-country and Lady Bronc swimming and diving.

LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc Football team closes out their first week of two-a-day practices tomorrow, with a much needed day off Sunday before ramping it up again on Monday. The Big Horn, Tongue River, and NSI football teams all open fall camp on Monday.

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Wyoming High School Activities Association has made many changes that will affect high school football this year. Class 4-A went to a single ten-team league, and class 2-A went to a much bigger and tougher league as well.

8/12/09 Sports for Wednesday

SHS FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs are looking good at the skill positions from a year ago. Austin Woodward returns at Quarterback to start for his third year, plus top Wide-Outs Will Hendrickson and TJ Stender are back as well. Coach Don Julian says that's a great start. If the Broncs have any holes to fill, it will come on the offensive line.

SHS FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs have been on the field for a day now, and Head Coach Don Julian says it's going to be a tough week, but in the end, it'll be worth it for the players and the coaches. The Broncs are coming off an 8-2 season and a semi-final playoff game.
