WYOMING COWBOY JOE FUNCTION IN SHERIDAN WEDNESDAY NIGHT / WYOMING TRACK CLASSIC FRIDAY IN CASPER / SHS SOCCER VS CHEYENNE CENTRAL AND EAST

WYOMING COWBOY JOE - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club will be hosting their membership drive kickoff event in Sheridan tomorrow night at the Sheridan Holiday inn beginning at 5:30.

Former Cowboy basketball player and Cody native Adam Waddell works for the athletic department at the university and reminds all UW fans to come out for tomorrow's function.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams they have Cheyenne Central and East on the schedule the Broncs will play at home.

With just three matches left in the regular season both teams are still in a tight chase near the top of the conference standings, Lady Bronc Head coach Mallery Marshall says the hard work continues.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track schedule this week is the annual Wyoming track classic in Casper Friday and the Casper invitational Saturday.

The all-class Wyoming track classic takes all the top times and distances in all events from all classes and combines them for an all star meet at Kelly Walsh high school Friday.

All of our Sheridan county teams will compete Saturday in the Casper invitational.

The outdoor regular season ends next week with a meet in Gillette with regional meets beginning May 16th the 1-A and 2-A East will be in Torrington and the 4-A East regional will be at Cheyenne South.

The state championships start Thursday May 22nd at Kelly Walsh high school.

Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers says time is running short and all the athletes must make the best of the next two weeks.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their season opening double header Sunday afternoon at the Billings Halos.

The Troops home opener is Mother's day May 11th they will play a double header with the Billings Royals.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Arizona 8-5 Monday night, Troy Tulowitski had two doubles and a home run and three RBI , they play again tonight the first pitch is at 7:40 live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
