SHERIDAN WYO RODEO - There have been a few changes to this year's addition of the Wyo Rodeo. The Rodeo committee has made the Wyo a two-head rodeo for all the timed events and added a Wednesday night performance in 2010.
Board member Tracy Swanson says the board was responding the requests from rodeo competitors.
For the past decade the board has done a good job of making changes and trying new twists each year to make the Wyo into what we have today and 10 day event. Board member Nick Siddle says other than adding the Wednesday night performance they've added more to the World Championship Indian relays.
Slack will take place each morning at 7:00 throughout the week and all slack performances are free for spectators.
The Carnival opens tomorrow night at 5:00 and the first performance starts tomorrow night at 7:00.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers regular season is starting to finish up. The Troops will host a double header with Cody Thursday beginning at 4:00.
The Troops open the post season on the 22nd at their district tournament in Cody, they must finish in the top four to make the state tournament. The Wyoming Double “AA”State tournament opens at Thorne-Rider stadium on the 28th.
The Sheridan Jets open their post season at the American Legion “B” state tournament in Casper on the 22nd.
BRONC FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan Broncs youth football camp continues this evening at Homer Scott stadium and wraps up tomorrow. The Broncs open their training camp for the 2010 season Monday, August 9th.
BIG HORN POLO - The Big Horn Polo Club will host two matches at the Equestrian center Sunday as part of the Wyo rodeo tailgate party. The “Eaton's” cup will be played at 1:00 and the “Wyo Rodeo” cup will be played at 3:00.
FLYING “H” POLO - The Flying “H” polo season is underway they play matches on Thursday and Saturday. This week they have matches Thursday afternoon at 1:00 and 3:00 and Saturday they play the consolation match of the “Bradford Brinton” Memorial cup at 1:00 and the championship at 3:00.
The Flying “H” season runs Thursdays and Saturdays through August 28th. The Flying “H” Polo club is located just west of the Big Horn Equestrian center.
