LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - Sheridan high school senior Kayla Woodward signed a national letter of intent Wednesday to become a Wyoming Cowgirl in the 2011-2012 season.
Woodward has been on the Lady Bronc varsity roster since her freshmen season and the last two years was named to the 4-A All-state team she talks about the recruiting process and ultimately deciding on the University of Wyoming, older brother Austin is currently a freshmen on the Wyoming football team.
The new high school basketball season opens with the first practice Monday and Woodward the Lady Broncs are poised to have a good season.
Lady Bronc Head coach Derek Bissitt says that Woodward has great basketball talent but brings much more than that to the Lady Broncs and next year the Cowgirls.
Bissitt returns the starting five from last spring and they are looking forward to a great season.
WYOMING HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS - Two Wyoming high school football championships will be played in Laramie tomorrow, Snake River plays Hanna-Elk Mountain in the 6-Man game at noon. the Buffalo Bison will take on the Douglas Bearcats in the 3-A game at 3:00.
The Big Horn Rams play Thermopolis Saturday morning in the 2-A final Rams Head coach Bert Dow talks about getting the Rams ready this week.
Thermopolis won the 2-A title last year in Laramie the Rams played for the championship in 2008 Dow says the only difference Saturday is that Thermop did play in the big stadium and has that experience.
The Sheridan Broncs are back in the state championship game a year after winning it all. they done it this season with guts and determination senior Zack Will says the players embraced the fact that most of them had to play both ways as he talks about how the Broncs got back to the championship game again.

WYOMING COWBOYS FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys are back out on the road this week they play at UNLV Saturday night. The live broadcast will follow the Bronc title game on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time will be at 7:00.
BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos get back on the field Sunday after a bye week. They will play Kansas City Sunday afternoon at home broadcast time is at 1:00 on AM 14-10 KWYO.
GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals will host their own basketball tournament tomorrow and Saturday. game times will be at 5:30 and 7:30 tomorrow night and 3:00 and 5:00 on Saturday the Generals will play the late game both night's.
