Winter sports are beginning to wind down with most teams this weekend at regional tournaments with a few at state and fewer still preparing for their regional tournaments next weekend.

Athletes from both Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools are all in action this weekend.

Buffalo's boys' and girls' basketball teams will host Douglas on Friday, the last game before they head to their Regional Tournament next weekend in Torrington.
Game times are 5:30 for the girls and 7 for the boys.

The Kaycee boys' and girls' basketball teams are at regionals in Douglas.
The Buckaroos beat Glendo 70-36 on Thursday and will take on Midwest Friday at 7pm.
The girls downed Guernsey-Sunrise 39-30 and will play Lingle-Ft, Laramie Friday at 5:30.

The Bison swimmers will have their prliminaries Friday and finals on Saturday at their state tournament in Gillette.

Bison wrestlers Cole Reiner, 113 lbs; Ethan Richins, 145; Tanner Verplancke, 160; Jonathan Rice, 170; Cody Clason, 182; and Jeremia Nicholson, 285 have all qualified for state and will be competing there today and Saturday.
Round One begins Friday at 9am with quarter and semifinals later in the day.
Third-place, fifth-place and championships will be Saturday in Casper.
