HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL- The Sheridan Broncs and Gillette Camels were involved in a classic came Friday night at Homer Scott Stadium. The Broncs lead 3-0 at the half before both offenses exploded in the second half as the Camels edged the Broncs in overtime by a final of 27-24. The loss is the first of the season for the Broncs as they now sit at 4-1 on the season. The Broncs will travel to play Laramie next Friday night. The Big Horn Rams continue to steamroll through the 2A as they clobbered Glenrock 46-0. The Rams will host the defending state champs next week as the Thermopolis Bobcats are up next for Big Horn. The Tongue River Eagles lost a close one in Dayton Friday to Burns by a final of 7-6. The loss drops the Eagles to 2-2 on the season. Tongue River will play at Wright next Friday. The Buffalo Bison dropped their game to Douglas Friday by a final of 22-7.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF- The Sheridan Bronc Golfers continue to hold a slim lead at the State Golf Tournament in Gillette. Bronc Golfer Kamrin Allen is atop the leaderboard as Allen shot a 69 to open the tournament.
