WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan Lady Broncs swept their conference road trip to Laramie and Cheyenne South, they beat Laramie in overtime Friday 56-51 and won at South 61-48. they play at home this week against Cheyenne East and Central.

The broncs split dropping Friday night's game against Laramie 73-67 but they came back with a nice 53-38 victory over South Saturday.

They held South to 15 points in the 2nd half Head coach Gale Smith says the players had a very good defensive game against the Bison.

Now the get ready for their road trip to the capital city they play at East Friday night and Central Saturday afternoon.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn basketball teams split their games at Tongue River Friday with the Rams winning Saturday both teams swept games with Greybull.

This week they close out their regular season home vs Sundance Friday then road games at Rocky Mountain.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River Lady Eagles chalked up two more victories now 20-0 on the season with wins over Big Horn and Wright the Eagles split they lost against the Rams and beat the Panthers Saturday.

This week they close out their regular seasons with games at Greybull Friday and at home with Sundance Saturday.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers dropped a dual to Cheyenne Central 41-27 to end their regular season Saturday. The Broncs will be at their conference tournament this weekend in Laramie. The state wrestling championships start next week in Casper.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept games at home Saturday against Central Wyoming. This week they play at Western Wyoming Wednesday night then at home Saturday hosting Dawson county community college.

It's also hall of fame weekend four former Sheridan college athletic standouts will be inducted during a ceremony Saturday night here's Generals Head coach and the Athletic Director Steve Smiley.

INDOOR TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track team will have 30 qualifiers will at the Simplot games in Pocatello, Idaho this week events begin Thursday.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls continue more league play this week starting Wednesday night, the Cowgirls play at Nevada while the Pokes host the Wolf Pack.
