WEEKEND SPORTS WRAP / POKES PLAY ROUND TWO OF THE CBI TONIGHT

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team split their opening conference matches over the weekend. they beat Cheyenne South 1-0 Friday and dropped a 2-0 decision to Laramie Saturday.

The Broncs whipped South 7-1 and dropped a 3-0 match at Laramie Saturday.

Both teams play once this week as they play at Buffalo Thursday night girls at 4:00 and the boys at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams had their meet at Cody canceled Saturday, this week they will travel to an invitational meet in Gillette Thursday events begin at 10:00 am.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS SOCCER - Sheridan college is scheduled to announce this week the two coaches who will be starting out as the Generals and Lady Generals soccer head coaches the school will begin play in region nine this fall.

SC Athletic Director Steve Smiley says one thing Sheridan college has over most programs in the region is having their soccer facility on campus.

Sheridan college is a late arrival to Region Nine soccer and Smiley says area they have found some challenges in filling out their schedule for this fall.

And finally today the college booster club is tying up some loose ends as they prepare to host their annual fund raising golf tournament this spring.

The event will be held in may and has become one the most popular early season outings for area golfers.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys will play a second round game in the CBI basketball tournament tonight. The Pokes host Western Michigan at the Double "AA". You can hear the game live on KWYO and 87.7fm ESPN radio pregame at 6:30 and the tip at 7:00.
