This weekend was a busy one for Johnson County's high school athletes as all fall sports were in action.
The Bison football team took their No. 4 ranking on the road to top-ranked Powell and were promptly humbled 41-14. They now sit at 1-1 on the season and will host Green River on Friday.
The Bison girls volleyball team dropped their matches this weekend, losing to Lander Valley 3-1, Rawlins 3-0 and splitting games with Torrington.
The Bison golf team hosted their invite this weekend, and Lee Hartley won the tournament for Buffalo. Tyler Harriet finished fifth, and Tony Vasco 11th for the boys. The Bison gold team finished second overall.
The girls' top finisher was Sydney Gruntmeir at 15th and the team finished 5th.
Kaycee's Buckaroos 6-man football team dismantled Farson-Eden on Friday by a score of 65-6. They will play at Hulett Saturday.
Kaycee Lady Bucs volleyball hosted Midwest and beat them three games to none.
