WEEKEND SOCCER /TRACK / GOLF / BASEBALL

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs play at home tonight against Cheyenne Central and tomorrow against East the Lady Broncs are playing in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs have only one loss on the season they already have regular season victories over both Central and East. Head coach Tom Racette says it's been a great year for Lady Bronc soccer.

And he says they expect to see great challenges in both matches.

For the Broncs they had one stumble this season with a loss against Laramie at home early, they avenged that loss last week and are leading the conference race heading into tonight match with Central.

Head coach Kevin Riser says since the Laramie loss the Broncs got right back to work.

And he says the Broncs are looking to get off to a fast start in tonight's game.

Bronc JV's play at 4:00 the varsity goes at 6:00 tomorrow against Cheyenne East the JV's play at 10:00 and the varsity at Noon.

A week from today the regular season ends with the both teams hosting a double header with Gillette the boys match will be at 4:00 and the girls at 6:00.

WYOMING TRACK CLASSIC - The Wyoming track classic is scheduled in Casper today. Eight Sheridan county athletes will compete with seven from Sheridan high school and one from Tongue River.

Nate Plymell carries the banner for Tongue River today he will compete in two events the 300 Meter Hurdles and the Pole Vault.

For the Sheridan Lady Broncs Katie Rotellini will run in the 800 Meters, Marrisa Hegy will compete in the 1600 Meters and Shayla Christensen will compete in the Shot Put.

For the Broncs Kyle Dietsche will run in the 800 Meters, Chris Garber in the 1600 Meters, Micheal Rotellini in the 3200 Meters and Taylor Craft will compete in the High Jump.

Tomorrow the Broncs and Lady Broncs are scheduled to compete at a big invitational in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers have two tournaments to play today they tee it up in Powell and in Buffalo tomorrow.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have rescheduled their canceled date with Casper. the season opening game will now be played Friday night May 11th at Thorne-Rider stadium.

The home opening celebration for the Troopers will now happen on Sunday, May 13th when they play a Double Header with Powell.

SHERIDAN LITTLE LEAGUE - Sheridan youth baseball day is Sunday a celebration opening up the new season will take place Sunday afternoon at 3:00 the fields out at Sheridan college.

Following a short ceremony Sheridan Little League will be playing regular season scheduled games.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open a three game home series with the New York Mets tonight you can hear the first game of the series live starting at 6:05 on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM.
