LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team has won three straight after sweeping games with Laramie and Kelly Walsh over the weekend. They shut-out Laramie 3-0 Friday and held off Kelly 3-2 Saturday.

They had a two goal lead twice against Kelly, Head coach Tom Racette was pleased with the effort.

And he says it was huge to get the weekend conference sweep.

Racette says they are on a roll with the scoring up as they have nine goals in the three consecutive victories.

The Lady Broncs will travel to play the Cheyenne schools this week.

BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc soccer team dropped both conference games at Laramie and Casper Kelly Walsh. They lost 2-0 in Laramie and Saturday dropped 2-1 game against KW.

The Broncs will host the Cheyenne schools this week on Friday and Saturday.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers opened their season in Worland Friday. The Broncs picked up right where they off last fall winning again.

The defending 4-A state champs shot 296 to beat the field by 20 shots to win the team title.

Bronc Junior Kamrin Allen took the overall title with a round of 70, Taylor Reed was 2nd with a 71, Chris Cremer tied for 3rd with a 74 and Cameron Lindell tied for 6th with a 79.

The Lady Broncs finished 2nd behind Gillette, Kindle Kirkham was 3rd overall followed by Kathrine Burnuagh in 6th place and Kira Kirkham was 8th.

The Broncs and Lady Bronc continue their spring schedule this week at an invitational in Gillette on Friday

BH, TR AND SHS JV GOLF - The Big Horn, Tongue River and Sheridan JV golfers played in a tournament at Kendrick golf course Friday all the teams did very well.

In the boys team race the Broncs won, Big Horn was 3rd and Tongue River was 4th.

Top finishers included the Ram's Brandon Metzger as the overall individual winner with a round of 78, the Broncs Forest Debolt was 2nd, Bryce Williams of Big Horn was 3rd.

For Tongue River Parker Jackson and Micheal Korp went 4th and 5th and rounding out the top ten was a trio of Broncs Sam Miller, Kelby Liggit and John Calhone.

Top placers in the girls race was Kaitlyn Bell from Big Horn was the overall winner, Sara Rawlings from Tongue River was 3rd and Grace Goldhammer from Big Horn was 8th.

TRACK AND FIELD - In track and field action the Sheridan high school teams had the weekend off they will get back into action tomorrow Head coach Art Bauers.

MLB - The Colorado Rockies are 6-2 overall after winning in Pittsburgh yesterday 6-5 they also have the two week lead in the NL West. They open another road series tonight at the New York Mets.
