BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams split with Gillette Friday night.

The Lady Broncs broke open a tight game late and beat the Camels 55-45, Robbi Ryan scored 14 points in the victory.

The Lady Broncs finish the first half of conference play 5-0 and 16-1 overall Pickett says now the schedule gets tougher with road games at Cheyenne East and Gillette.

The boys games was close into the 4th quarter but Gillette pulled away and beat the Broncs 72-62. Reed Ritterbusch led the Broncs with 24 points.

Both teams continue league play this week with games against Laramie and Cheyenne South. The Lady Broncs will play at home while the Broncs travel.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams played home games with Moorcroft Friday night the Lady Rams won 63-18 the Rams beat the Wolves 72-62.

They played at Lovell Saturday the girls lost 64-45 the boys won 55-46.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles played games at Sundance Friday night both teams came out on top the Lady Eagles won 48-35 and the Eagles won 42-39.

They played at Rocky Mountain Saturday the Lady Eagles won 57-48 the Eagles lost 57-39.

A/C BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers beat Midwest 47-37 the boys lost 54-36.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept games from Dawson CC Saturday.

The Lady Generals won 63-60 the Generals came out on top 93-84 both teams play at Northwest college in Powell Wednesday.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball teams played UNLV Saturday the Cowgirls won 82-57 they play on the road at SDSU Wednesday night.

The Cowboys lost 48-46 at UNLV the play San Diego state tomorrow night broadcast time will be at 8:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers finished 2nd at the Ron Thon invite in Riverton six broncs placed with three champions they were Braxton Cooper, Hayden Hastings and Cody Delk.

Kyle Burton placed 3rd, Tory Music was 5th and Dane Chambers was 6th.

The Broncs wrap up their regular season with week with a dual in Gillette Thursday night. The Broncs host the East regional tournament on the 21st and 22nd.
