WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school got the annual spring "Dan Hansen" Sheridan invitational in on Saturday. In team scores the Broncs and Lady Broncs were both 6th.

In the girls standings Big Horn was 10th, Tongue River was 13th and Arvada / Clearmont was 18th.

This week all state qualifiers are scheduled to compete at the Wyoming track classic Friday at Casper Kelly Walsh high school and Saturday kw will host the Casper Invitational

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team lost on the road in Laramie 5-0 Friday, Saturday's match at Cheyenne South was postponed and will be made up a week from today both teams will meet in Casper to play the match.

The Broncs swept their weekend matches with Laramie and South and they needed to win both.

Head coach Kevin Riser was prophetic Friday before the games started with the Broncs sitting at 2-3 in conference play.

They got right back in the conference race by blasting Laramie and South by scores of 5-2 and 4-1.

This week it's Cheyenne East and Central on the schedule Friday and Saturday the Lady Broncs will play at home and the Broncs in Cheyenne.

SC SOCCER - Sheridan college Men's soccer coach Austin Albers will hold a soccer open house the the college Saturday. All prospective college players are urged to attend.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are scheduled to play this week at tournament's in Powell and Buffalo Friday and Saturday.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies lost 5-4 to the Arizona Diamondbacks last night ending their eight game winning streak. They open a new home series tonight with Atlanta you can hear tonight's game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio first pitch at 6:40.
