WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams went 4-2 at the East / West Shoot Out tournament in Riverton over the weekend.

The Lady Broncs remain unbeaten at 10-0 after victories over Kelly Walsh high school, Evanston and Riverton they have two more non-conference games this week they host Billings West Friday night and play at Natrona county Saturday.

The Broncs went 1-2 in Riverton the highlight was Friday's 66-47 win over 5th ranked Evanston they play at Billings West Friday night and host Natrona county Saturday at 4:30.

BH BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams swept games from wright Friday the Lady Rams beat the Lady Panthers 46-34 and Rams won 71-53.

This week they host Tongue River Friday and play at Kaycee Saturday.

TR BASKETBALL - The Tongue River teams swept Moorcroft Friday night the Lady Eagles won a runaway 63-12 and the Eagles beat the Wolves 63-58 they played at Lovell Saturday with the number one ranked Lady Eagles winning 47-26 the Eagles lost 65-37.

They play at Big Horn Friday night then on the road at Riverside high school over in Basin Saturday.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals beat Laramie county Saturday 78-66 they are 14-3 overall the Lady Generals are 12-4 on the season.

Both teams play at Central Wyoming in Riverton Wednesday and come home for games with Western Wyoming Saturday, games Saturday will be at 3:00 and 5:00 in the Hoffman dome.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers dropped duals to Laramie and Buffalo at the Sheridan pool Friday, next up the broncs compete at meets Friday and Saturday in Cheyenne.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 6th at the "Shane Shatto" invitational tournament in Douglas six Broncs placed in the tournament.

Gage Tyree and Cody Delk finished 2nd, Tory Music was 4th in his weight division, Tucker Goss and Alex Smiley were 5th and Dane Chambers was 6th.

This weekend the Broncs will compete in the annual Cowboy invitational tournament in Miles City, Montana.

INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track season opens next week in Spearfish, South Dakota at Black Hills state university.

Head coach Art Bauers says they have nearly 80 students participating the the program and indoor track has really grown over the last decade.

They compete Friday in Spearfish and Bauers talks about expectations and what they are looking for from the athletes in the first meet.

And Bauers says the indoor program has really helped out with preparing the team for the outdoor season in March.

COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys are 13-0 and open conference play at home Wednesday against Boise state, you can hear the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame is at 7:30 with the tip at 8:00.

COWGIRLS - The Wyoming Cowgirls stand at 11-2 they open conference play on the road at Boise state Wednesday.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos will host the Baltimore ravens in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs Saturday afternoon.

You can hear the game live on our sister station 87.7 FM ESPN radio the Bronco pregame show will start at noon with kickoff at 2:30.
