WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams did well at the Flaming gorge classic, the Lady Broncs took care of business with three wins over Union high school from Roosevelt, Utah, Star Valley and Rock Springs. The Lady Broncs are 6-0.

The Broncs opened with victories over Union and Rock Springs before dropping their third game to Star Valley. The Broncs now sit at 3-3 on the season

Thursday the Broncs will play in Buffalo while the Lady Broncs host the Lady Bison, both games will tip at 7:00 and will be broadcast live, the Lady Broncs on 14-10 KWYO and the Broncs on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept their games with Gillette Friday to end 2012 . the Lady Generals blew out Gillette 81-51 while the Generals beat the Pronghorns 72-62.

TONGUE RIVER HOOPS - The Tongue River Lady Eagles remain unbeaten at 8-0 with three wins during the Foot Hills classic tournament they posted wins over Big Piney, Wind River and Wyoming Indian.

The Eagles went 1-2 beating Big Piney and lost to Wind River and Wyoming Indian the Eagles are 4-4 overall.

BIG HORN HOOPS - The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Big Piney and dropped games to Wind River and Wyoming Indian and stand at 3-6 overall.

The Rams beat Big Piney and Wind River and dropped a 63-60 game to Wyoming Indian and stand at 6-3 overall.

Thursday night the Rams and Lady Rams will host games with Moorcroft.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 7th in the Worland dual tournament. They went 3-1 in pool action in the bracket matches they lost against Riverton 38-32 and finished 7th overall.

The Broncs host a dual match tomorrow night with Billings Senior varsity matches are scheduled to begin at 6:00.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys will be back in action tomorrow night after 10 days off. he Pokes host Denver University you can hear it live tomorrow night pregame at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls beat Weber state Friday night 77-62 and lost at Bowling Green yesterday 79-69, they are off today and will play at Ball state tomorrow night, the Cowgirls are 10-2 over all.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos have won nine straight after winning at Baltimore Sunday 34-17, this week the Broncos play at home against Cleveland Sunday afternoon pregame at noon kickoff at 2:05 on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
