BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc cross country runners had a big day Saturday winning their first meet of the year at the Casper invitational Head coach Art Bauers.

And he says that victory was a big confidence builder for the Broncs. Bauers says the youthful Lady Broncs had a pretty good day as well.

Now they head to a big invitational in Billings Saturday and he says their runners love to compete at this Billings invitational.

BRONC FOOTBALL The Sheridan Broncs routed Evanston Friday night 41-9 they got off quick leading 17-3 at halftime and pulled away early in the 3rd quarter over coming four turnovers in the win Head coach Don Julian.

And Julian says it was the first game where we saw the Broncs really get physical with an opponent.

Nate Kane had three touchdown runs of 2, 9 and 24 yards, Kevin Bakkehaug threw a touchdown pass to Casey Carlton, Gunner Edeen kicked two field goals and Brandt Ross returned an interception late in the game 31 yards for a touchdown.

This week the Broncs will be on the road before coming home for two in a row at home. Yhey play at Rock Springs Friday night then return home for back to back games with Gillette and Laramie.

The Big Horn Rams pounded Wright to go to 3-0 on the season. They led 39-0 at halftime and won it 46-22. The Rams play at home Friday afternoon against Glenrock we will broadcast that game for you live kickoff is at 1:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles dropped a 34-6 game at Moorcroft Friday, the Eagles will be back at home next week against Burns.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys fell against Cal-Poly 24-22 Saturday this week the pokes play at the road at Idaho Saturday afternoon.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers hosted the Sheridan invitational at Kendrick golf course. The Broncs finished 7th with no players in the top ten they end the fall this week at the state tournament in Casper.

A practice round will be held Thursday with the tournament on Friday and Saturday

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams both took duals in Powell Friday both teams won 4-1. On Saturday they lost duals against Cody. They will play at their conference tournament this week.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team won the first game of their match with Cheyenne Central Friday night but Central would get rolling and take the next three games to win the match.

They lost against 2nd ranked Cheyenne East Saturday. This week they play at a tournament in Casper Friday and Saturday.

BH / TR VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady rams lost at Wright Friday while the Tongue River Lady Eagles won at Moorcroft.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team will play at home tomorrow night against Casper college the match is scheduled to begin at 7:00.
