AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped two games in Cody last Friday and will play on the road tonight in Riverton. The Troops play two at home Wednesday night against Sturgis, South Dakota. The Troopers start the post season at their district tournament July 22nd the top four qualify for the state tournament which begins in Sheridan July 28th. Head coach Ben Phillips says the Troops have some quality games to play over the next three weeks.

The Troopers have 18 games left in the regular season. they will play in their district tournament in Cody.

The Sheridan Jets are off until Friday when they host a double header with Lovell.

BIG HORN POLO - The Big Horn Polo Club hosted two Cup matches on Saturday the D Bar D Ranch won the “Moncriefee cup” 7-6 over “41 Labs” the winning team was Katie Connell, Marius Hoffman, Kim Warren and Sebastian Mariani.

The Century 21 team took the “D.A.Davidson cup” 10-7 over Sheridan Seed.
The winning team was Richard Dudman, Jake Stimmel, Yy MacCarty and Bob Brotherton.

This week the play two more matches on Sunday. the first match at 1:00 will be the “Chris Ledoux Foundation Cup” and the “Sheridan Motor Cup” at 3:00. Admission is free and open to the public.

SHS WRESTLING CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc wrestling program is holding wrestling camp this week. the camp is open to all wrestlers ages 10 and older. Bronc head coach Terry Burgess says they will be taking registration this morning before the camp opens at 10:00. The younger kids go in the morning and the older kids in the afternoon. The camp is taking place in the wrestling room at Sheridan high school.

MLB - The Colorado Rockies blew a 3-0 lead Against San Francisco yesterday and had to go five and half hours and 15 innings. Todd Helton hit a Sacrifice fly in the bottom of the15th to win the game. The Rockies are now three and a half games behind San Diego in the National League West. The Rocks open a three game series at home tonight with St.Louis.
