HOLIDAY TOURNAMENT BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lions Club will host their annual basketball tournament at the Hoffman Dome Friday and Saturday. Games will be played at 1, 3, 5 and 7 pm both days. The Lady Generals will play at 5:00, and the Generals at 7:00. Tickets can be purchased at the door -- all-day adult tickets are $6 and all-day student tickets are $3.

LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Lady Generals will play Little Big Horn Community College Friday and Western Wyoming Saturday; they are 5-2 overall with 7 more to play before they break for Christmas. Coach Frank McCarthy says in these next two weeks, it's important to keep the players' focus and intensity at a high level.

GENERALS HOOPS - The Generals will play Ogala Lakota Community College from South Dakota and Rocky Mountain College. With just five games played, they are now getting into the full run of the schedule. That's coach Steve Smiley, who says the Generals have played pretty well in those five games.

The Generals host another tournament next weekend. Fans should really enjoy the competition when they play Lake Region Community College from North Dakota and Western Nebraska from Scottsbluff. The newest member of Region IX, Gillette College will be the fourth team in the tournament.

UW HOOPS - The Cowboys have won two straight, and play tonight at Denver University. You can hear it on AM 1410 KWYO at 6:30.

The Pokes are back at the “AA” to host the World Vision Tournament Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They open it Friday night against Monmouth University from New Jersey -- that broadcast will open at 7:00 on KWYO.

UW FOOTBALL - The Cowboys will start the day Friday afternoon at CSU. The Pokes are 5-6 overall and will become bowl eligible with a win against the Rams. Cowboy's freshmen Quarterback Austin Carta-Samuels will play his first game against CSU.

We will broadcast the game live Friday afternoon on KWYO; the broadcast begins at 11:00, with kick-off at noon in Fort Collins.

NFL - The holiday NFL football action includes three games tomorrow. Green Bay opens the day at Detroit followed by Oakland at Dallas. The late game has the New York Giants at Denver. We will broadcast that game for you on KWYO -- pre-game begins at 5:30.

The game will be televised on the “NFL” Network, so for those who don't have that cable channel, the only place to get the action live will be on AM 1410 KWYO.
