BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc basketball team is poised for a good run this season as they build on the momentum of the football team's success.

The Broncs have a different look and attitude this year; they've become a more confident team on the court, says head coach Mike Ibach.

Even though they are off to a 5-2 start, they have to get used to playing ahead in games and playing as a favorite instead of as an underdog.

Ibach says good team leadership has been important to the good start as well.

Tomorrow we will check in on the Lady Broncs as they prepare to travel with the Broncs next week for games in Riverton.

SHS WRESTLING AND SWIMMING - The Sheridan High School wrestlers and swimmers and divers have home duals next week. The Bronc Wrestlers host Kelly Walsh High School next Friday, and the Bronc swimmers and divers will host duals with Worland and Gillette.

BIG HORN AND TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Rams and Eagles basketball teams will have home games next week, as well as the Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals. SCC teams host games next Friday with Central Wyoming.

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys get back into action tonight hosting Akron University. The Pokes are 6-6 heading into the game. You can hear all the action live on AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM -- broadcast time is at 6:30.

DENVER BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos have a shot at getting into the playoffs, but they must win at home Sunday against Kansas City and get some help from a couple of other teams in order to get the AFC Wild Card.

We will broadcast that game for you Sunday afternoon on AM 1410 KWYO starting at 1:00.
