UW TRACK SEASON ENDS AT NCAA PRELIMS / SHERIDAN'S TAYLOR GARDNER PARTICIPATES

AUSTIN, Texas - Despite strong efforts by four Wyoming seniors to qualify for the finals, the 2013 track and field season came to a close Saturday at the NCAA West Preliminary in Austin, Texas.

"It was evident our athletes were doing their best and giving their full effort," said Wyoming coach Bryan Berryhill. "We came knowing we'd be facing some of the nation's top athletes in our sport and I think we represented the state and university well.

It was an honor for the 11 Wyoming athletes to be here, and we look to increase that number in the future."
