LIONS CLUB BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lions Club will host their annual basketball tournament at the Hoffman Dome this Friday and Saturday. The Sheridan College Generals and Lady Generals are the host teams, and games will be played at 1, 3, 5 and 7 pm both days. The Lady Generals will play at 5:00 and the Generals at 7:00.
Tickets can be purchased at the door -- all-day adult tickets are $6, and all-day student tickets are $3.

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Lady Generals are 5-2 overall and winners of 4 out of their last 5 games. Last spring, they won the Region IX title and a trip to the National tournament. This fall, head coach Frank McCarthy has brought in several new players to revamp the roster, and he says after seven games, so far, so good.

The Lady Generals have good leadership from a group of sophomores that made a big splash in the program a year ago. It's still early in the season, and McCarthy says they have a lot of room to improve. They will play Little Big Horn Community College and Western Wyoming during the Lions Club tournament.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals are 4-1 overall. They will play Ogala Lakota Cmmunity College and Rocky Mountain College in the Lions Club Tournament. The Generals will also host a tournament next weekend, playing two great teams: Lake Region from North Dakota and Western Nebraska.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboy football and basketball teams play on Friday. The football Cowboys are 5-6 overall, and technically could become bowl eligible with a win Friday at Colorado State. We will broadcast the game live Friday afternoon on AM 1410 KWYO. The broadcast begins at 11:00, with kick-off set for noon in Fort Collins.

That broadcast will begin at 7:00 on KWYO.

The third game has the New York Giants at the Denver Broncos; we will broadcast the game for you on KWYO beginning at 5:30. The game will be televised on the “NFL” Network, so for those who don't have that cable channel, the only place to get the action live will be on AM 1410 KWYO.
