TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers jumped out to a big lead and beat Summit,Colorado last night 11-2.

They have a change to their schedule tonight, their game with Cheyenne has been canceled so they have a couple of days off to get ready as they host a home double header Sunday afternoon with Rapid City Post #320 the first game is schedule to start at 1:00.

TROOPER YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP - The Troopers will hold the 20th annual Trooper youth baseball camp next week Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Thorne-Rider stadium.

The camp is open to all boys and girls ages 7 to 15 and will run next Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 to noon the cost of the camp is 35 dollars and they will take walk up registration before the camp opens Thursday.

YOUTH SPORTS CAMPS - July a big month for youth sports camp in Sheridan county.

Sheridan youth volleyball will host a camp with the University of Wyoming Cowgirls program July 26th and 27th, also that week the Sheridan Bronc football coaches will host their Little Bronc camp in conjunction with their high school camp.

Sheridan college Lady Generals soccer coach Stefan Skillman has announced he will be holding three girls youth camps next month.

They will have a two sessions going July 23rd through 25th for 3rd through 6th grades and 7th through 10th grades, the third sessions will be for high school juniors and seniors July 26th and 27th.

BIG HORN MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN - The Big Horn Montain Wild and Scenic trail run starts today with the 100 mile event getting underway.

Tomorrow the 50 mile, 50k and 30k races begin. finishing in the park in Dayton they will hold a post race BBQ from 1-8 pm tomorrow and conclude the event Sunday morning with a awards breakfast on Grinell Plaza.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies had Thursday off and needed it after getting no-hit Wednesday. They open a weekend home series with Milwaukee tonight you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio, first pitch is at 6:10.
