NEW LADY BRONC BASKETBALL COACH / STATE TRACK AND FIELD BEGINS THURSDAY

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Bronc basketball program has a new Head coach the Sheridan county school district two board approved the selection of Jessica Cordingly at last night's meeting.

Cordingly grew up in Thermopolis and is currently teaching and coaching in California.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK / FIELD - The Wyoming high school state track and field championships begin Thursday in Casper.

POST SEASON SOCCER / TRACK & FIELD / TROOPER BASEBALL

STATE SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open the state tournament in Rock Springs Thursday.

The Lady Broncs will open the tournament Thursday afternoon at 3:30 against Green River.

The Broncs will open Thursday morning at 11:00 against Rock Springs

TRACK AND FIELD - The Wyoming high school state track and field championships begin Thursday in Casper.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc spring golf season ends with the conference tournament at the Powder Horn round one is today.

The 3A East Regional Track and Field meet was this past weekend in Newcastle and the Bison came away with some Regional champions and are well-prepared for the state meet this weekend in Casper.

REGIONAL SOCCER / TRACK / TROOPERS IN ACTION AT HOME

REGIONAL SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams finish up play today at the 4-A East regional tournament.

The Lady Broncs lost 4-0 against Laramie Friday night and will play Cheyenne Central for 3rd and 4th place today.

The Broncs lost 2-1 against Gillette and will play Central today for 3rd and 4th.

They will open play at the state tournament next Thursday in Rock Springs.

REGIONAL TRACK - Regional track and field competition concludes today after day one here are the team standings.

FORMER LADY BRONC SHINES FOR UW TRACK

Former Lady Bronc and current Wyoming Cowgirl Taylor Gardner had a personal best in the 400 hurdles last Friday is 4th all time in UW history.

UW is at for UNLV this weekend for the conference outdoor meet.

Gardner will be running on the 4 X 100 team, the 4 X 400 team and in the 400 hurdles. Her time Friday of 59.8 in the 400 hurdles is second fastest in the MWC this year.
