TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers continue a torrid schedule as they came home from a two week road trip and played four games already this week, they'll play two on the road today before going to South Dakota tomorrow and then a road trip to Douglas Sunday.
The Troops got two home runs from Issac Carrel in last night's 16-10 win over Cody.
After struggling for a few games last week Head coach Ben Phillips says they finally got the bats going.
And he says they have hit the stretch of games that will make them a better team when it comes to the post season.
The schedule has taken it's toll on the players but they've done a good job of fighting through being on the road.
He says the good thing about having all these games so close together is the players getting more plate appearances which is starting to pay off.
