TROOPERS PLAY FIVE ON THE ROAD THIS WEEKEND

SHERIDAN TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open up a three day tournament in Powell today they will play five games over the next three days Head coach Ben Phillips.

And Phillips says the pitching staff is all lined up for the next five days because they also have a home game Tuesday night against Casper.

The schedule in Powell has the playing a double header this afternoon with Lovell and the Billings Halos. tomorrow they will play Williston, North Dakota at 1:00 and Powell at 7:00 and end the weekend against Cody Sunday at 11:00.

Their next home game is Tuesday when they host a single nine inning game with Casper that game will start at 5:00 and we will broadcast it live on 14-10 KWYO.

WYOMING SPORTS HALL OF FAME - Ben will join five others as the class of 2012 in the Wyoming sports hall of fame tomorrow night in Casper.

Phillips will join his brother Blaine, former Wyoming Cowboy football players Dave Edeen and Casey Bramlett, Bruce Collins for basketball and longtime high school volleyball coach Sandy Jebens as inductees this this year.

Also being honored tomorrow will be Paul Eastridge of Casper he will receive the lifetime achievement award and Cheyenne baseball player Brandon Nimmo will receive the athlete of the year award. The hall of fame banquet will be held tomorrow night at 6:00 in Casper.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies won in Philadelphia Thursday ending a four game losing streak. This evening they open a series at the Texas Rangers. You can hear the game live at 5:30 on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM.

Rockies All-Star Short Stop Troy Tulowitski had groin surgery Thursday the Rockies says he will miss the next 6 to 8 weeks.
