TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers got a brilliant pitching performance from Drew Adriaens Tuesday night and beat the Gillette Roughriders 5-3 in a big conference game in Gillette.
Adriaens went seven innings Skyler Holwell pitched the final two innings as they combined to throw a one hitter.
Trailing 3-0 going into the 9th inning the Troops scored five runs to pick up their second conference win of the season.
They are now 8-7 overall and 2-0 in conference play, next up they play a return game with Gillette Tuesday night at 6:00 you can hear the game live on 14-10 KWYO.
ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming high school All-star basketball teams arrive in Sheridan today for their first practices as they get ready for the annual series with Montana.
Public scrimmages will be held tomorrow night at the Hoffman dome at 5:00 and 6:30.
The girls game will tip at 6:00 Friday night the boys go at 8:00 , Saturday they shift the series to Billings all four games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO.
BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Gillette football teams got together in Sheridan last night for some scrimmages as both teams get ready to go to their football camps.
We caught up with Broncs Head coach Don Julian before all the action started and he says the broncs have had a good couple of weeks of practice.
The Broncs will be going to football camp at Black Hills state and Julian says the coaches will get their first good look at what the Broncs might look like this fall.
Last night Gillette came over to scrimmage the Broncs to get both teams some live action before they go their camps.
And Julian says the Broncs and Camels are conference rivals but he says both teams respect one another and it was good to get on the field.
