TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are off until they play at home a Monday against Laramie that is scheduled as a single nine inning game at noon. That will be our next live broadcast we will have it live for you next Monday afternoon on 14-10 KWYO.
Even though they are not playing this week Head coach Ben Phillips says that doesn't mean they won't be busy.
Sheridan American legion baseball is the beverage vendor in the fairgrounds grandstands during the WYO rodeo. Players, coaches and adults will be working the crowds and the team will also have practice this week along with the annual alumni game Saturday.
The Troops only have eight games left on their regular season schedule and they'll be using the next couple of weeks as a tune up for the state tournament.
JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets split a double header in Cody Tuesday, the Jets took the first game 6-1, Cody won the 2nd game 8-2.
WYO RODEO - The Sheridan WYO rodeo gets rolling today, slack timed events start at 9:00 the WYO rodeo carnival opens at 5:00 and the first performance of the 2014 WYO rodeo starts promptly at 7:00.
Slack timed events will run each day through Saturday starting at 9:00 and admission is free.
NHSFR - The National high school finals rodeo begins Sunday in Rock Springs five from Sheridan county will compete Jeff Zdziarski will compete in bareback riding and saddle bronc riding.
Brandt Ross will compete in tie down roping, Linzee Adamson will be in the barrel race, Cody Ballek competes in team roping and Denton Carson will compete in cutting.
The high school national finals runs all next week.
SHS BOOSTER CLUB GOLF - The Sheridan high school booster club will hold their golf tournament Sunday at the Powder Horn, it's a four person team scramble the shot gun start will be at 1:00 contact the powder horn to enter your teams.
