Troopers host Cody Tuesday / SC Hoop camp opens today / Wyo all star basketball Friday / 2014 Wyo Shrine Bowl is Saturday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers and Powell were rained out Friday night, next up for the Troops is a home double header tomorrow evening against Cody, first game will start at 5:00.

Rain outs are a fact of life this time of year and gave the Troops are few extra days off to get ready for the double header with Cody and for the first time this season Head coach Ben Phillips will be able to put a healthy full starting lineup on the field.

pitching is still the big concern right now especially later this week when the troopers head to Omaha, Nebraska for a five day tournament which starts Thursday.

GENERALS HOOP CAMP - The Sheridan college Generals youth basketball camp will run from 8 to noon today through Thursday and is open to all boys K-10th grade. they will be taking walk up registration this morning before the first session.

WYO/MT ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming / Montana high school all star basketball series is this week. The first two games will be played at the Hoffman dome Friday times will be at 5:30 and 7:30. They play in Billings the Saturday night also at 5:30 and 7:30

There are three Sheridan county players representing Wyoming this year from Sheridan high school Maddy McClure and Reed Ritterbusch and Sarah Rawlings from Tongue River. All four games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO.

WYOMING SHRINE BOWL - The 2014 Wyoming Shrine Bowl football game will be played Saturday night in Casper.

Four Sheridan county players will represent the north squad this year they are Colter Carzoli from Big Horn and three Sheridan Broncs Nick Gill, Justin Orum and Daniel Sessions.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost a rain shortened game Sunday against the LA Dodgers 6-1. The Rockies have lost 12 of their last 15 games.
