TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have won 16 straight games and coming off sweeping five games at a tournament in Powell and currently stand at 29-4 overall and they are back at Thorne-Rider stadium tonight.
The Troops go after their 30th win of the season tonight when they host a conference game with the Casper Drillers.

The troops have been scoring runs in bunches the last couple of weeks and in Powell pick up several timely hits in winning five games Head coach Ben Phillips.
It's been very hot and that will continue today they also play two at home with Cody tomorrow and Phillips says it's important for the players to stay fresh.
Tonight's game is a conference games tomorrow's double header with Cody is non-conference the first game will start at 5:00.
FREEDOM FEST 2012 - The Sheridan Recreation District will get your 4th of July started off as the once again host Freedom Fest at the old Woodland Park school.
It's a perfect start to the day before heading out to the fireworks display at the Big Horn Equestrian center and all activities are free for everyone.
Freedom Fest will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the 4th. there will be refreshments and lots of games and activities for the kids and adults and this year they are going to feature a mud volleyball tournament.
The mud volleyball tournament is co-ed and they are currently taking registration at the Rec District office in Thorne-Rider park.
Again Freedom Fest will be from 10-00 to 2:00 next Wednesday the 4th of July at the old Woodland Park school.
2012 SHERIDAN WYO RODEO - The 2012 Sheridan WYO rodeo is not very far away the annual Boot Kick off is set for Saturday July 7th.
The first performance of the WYO is July 11th and Rodeo Friday in downtown Sheridan this year will be Friday the 13th.
WYO Rodeo board President Zane Garstad released the list of competitors entered this year and their are 681 cowboys and cowgirls signed up and getting ready to compete.
