TROOPERS FACE JACKSON IN BILLINGS TOURNEY OPENER / WYO RODEO WEEK CONTINUES

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings today they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips the competition in this tournament will be good for the Troopers.

And he says he feels confident the Troops will play well especially after the way they played last week in Cheyenne.

The Troopers will play at Thorne-Rider stadium Monday night they host two with the Laramie Rangers the first game will start at 5:30 and we will broadcast game one live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

That will be seven games in five days and Phillips says by Monday the team will be tired and they'll have to rely on all their arms to get through this tough
stretch.

WYO RODEO - The second performance of the 2013 WYO rodeo starts at 7:00 tonight which will lead us right into our coverage of Friday rodeo day activities in downtown Sheridan as we team up with ACT communications and Sheridan college to bring you all the live audio and video of events downtown.

We start at 6:00 at the Kiwanis pancake breakfast at 8:00 it's the Spurs and Sneakers fun run, the Bed races start at 9:00 and the Parade at 10:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat San Diego 5-4 last night. They are off today then open a weekend series at the LA Dodgers that will end the first half of the season as the all-star break starts Monday.
