TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers finish up tournament play in Billings Sunday. They ended up going 3-2 and capped the tournament with a 7-4 win over the Cody Cubs.

The Troops host a double header with the Laramie rangers tonight. They played Saturday in Billings with the Rangers winning that game 7-5.

Both teams will be a little tired and short on pitching coming out of the long weekend, Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says Laramie has a good ball club and they will use as many arms as it takes to get through tonight's games.

The first game will start at 5:30 and we will broadcast game one live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

WYO RODEO FINAL AVERAGE RESULTS - In the timed events the team of Brandon Beers and Jim Ross Cooper took the team roping average, Scott Komos of Teague, Texas won the average in tie down roping. The steer roping average winner was Rocky Patterson of Pratt, Kansas.

Hunter Cure of Holiday ,Texas took the average in the steer wrestling. The fast time in the barrel race was posted by Sabrina Ketcham of Yeso, New Mexico at 17.24.

In the rough stock events the bareback riding champion for 2013 was Wes Stevenson from Lubbock, Texas with a score of 86, the saddle bronc champion was Chuck Schmidt from Keldron, South Dakota with a score of 84 and the bull riding champion for the 2013 WYO rodeo was Cole Echols from Elm Grove, Louisiana with a score of 89 points.

BRONC FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc football coaching staff will be holding their Bronc youth and player camp this week, they will host one day of seven on seven scrimmages Saturday with several area teams coming in to participate.

Bronc Head coach Don Julian says the youth camp is a lot of fun for the young Broncs in the community.

Registration is ten dollars and they will take registration at Homer Scott stadium starting at 4:30 Wednesday before the first session begins.

The high school players go after the youth session the high school players will go through scrimmages Saturday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat the LA Dodgers 3-1 Sunday to end the first half of the MLB season. It's the All Star Break for Major League Baseball.

The Rockies resume the season Friday hosting the Chicago Cubs we will have the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio. Rockies on deck starts at 6:00 with the first pitch at 6:40.
