TROOPERS CONTINUE PLAY IN OMAHA / JETS DROP TWO SUNDAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 1-4 at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, they opened with a victory over Northglenn, Colorado but have three losses against two other Colorado teams and one from Nebraska.

Today they finish up play in Omaha with two games before coming home for their next home date which will be Thursday night against the Billings Halos.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets dropped two to the Billings Halos yesterday Head coach Ryan Murner says his young players are starting to get together but still have a ways to go.

They played the Halos yesterday and Murner says that playing the better teams especially those with older players will help develop the Jets into a better team in the long run.

And he says the younger players are in the process of learning the game and he 's liked what he's seen out of this year's group of players.

SC BASKETBALL CAMP - Sheridan college Women's basketball coach Frank McCarthy opens his girls basketball camp today the camp opens at 9:00 and runs through noon through Thursday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies took two out of three games from Philadelphia over the weekend.

Tonight the Rockies open an Interleague series in Toronto you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio, Rockies pregame starts at 4:30 with the first pitch at 5:05.
