TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped both ends of a double header in Cheyenne last night as Post 6 swept by scores of 10-0 and 13-7.

The Troops are now 20-9 overall they play two in Gering, Nebraska tomorrow and two more in Scottsbluff Saturday.

Head coach Ben Phillips says they expect four more good games before returning to Thorne-Rider next week as he says they really have hit the meat of their schedule.

They host a double header Monday night with Casper and Wednesday against Cody.

We will be broadcasting the first game of the Casper double header live Monday night on AM 14-10 KWYO the first pitch is scheduled to be tossed out at 5:00.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets will play their next games at home Saturday afternoon against Gillette.The first game of the double header will start at noon.

BABE RUTH BASEBALL - The Sheridan Babe Ruth baseball league will start their post season tournament next week. They are wrapping up the regular season next week so they can get their teams set for the district and state tournaments coming up in July.

This past week the Sheridan 14-15 year olds finished 3rd at a tournament in Spearfish, South Dakota the 13 year old team finished 2nd at the same event.

LOCAL TENNIS TOURNANMENT - The Sheridan high school tennis teams will be hosting a singles tennis tournament July 2nd and 3rd at the Sheridan high school tennis courts.

The tournament is open to all tennis players in Sheridan they will have two divisions of play (A and B) for both men and women.

If players have played high school tennis in any USTA and experienced players should register for the "A" division. The entry fee is 10 dollars per player and a can of new balls.

The registration deadline is next Wednesday, please send entry fees to Sheridan high school tennis coach Bob Faurot and 360 Smith street in Sheridan.

All proceeds will go to the Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis program

SHS LOCKER CLEAN OUT - Sheridan high school wants to remind all students that all sports and hallway lockers at SHS have been cleaned out.

As of Tuesday July 5th all left over items will be disposed of or donated to local charities.

To claim locker and locker room items go to the Sheridan high school office Monday through Thursday between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm.
