TR FOOTBALL LOOKS FORWARD TO THE NEXT STEP / LOCAL GOLF AND TENNIS IN ACTION TOMORROW / BRONC FOOTBALL KICKS OFF FRIDAY

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles didn't play football in 2011, last year Head coach John Scott took over to rebuild the Eagles program and now in year two the team looks to move forward with the foundation that was built last year.

Scott talks about what has changed going into this year's season from the growing pains of 2012.

And he says the nice this about camp this year has been they are way ahead of where they were a year ago.

They scrimmage Friday in Thermop with the Bobcats and Pine Bluffs and Scott says that comes at a good time for the players and coaches.

The Eagles host Rocky Mountain in the regular season opener on September 6th that will be game two of our triple header that day.

We will start in Big Horn with the Rams playing Greybull at 1:00 then we go to Dayton for the Eagles and Grizzlies at 4:00 and finish at Homer Scott stadium with the Sheridan Broncs home opener against Casper Kelly Walsh at 6:00.

The Broncs play at Laramie Friday night we will have the game live for you on 14-10 KWYO the First Federal pregame show will start at 5:30 kickoff is at 6:00.

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers will play this week at an invite in Worland beginning tomorrow.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open this week at the Gillette relays and pentathlon Friday and Saturday.

TENNIS - The SHS tennis teams will host Jackson in their first fall matches tomorrow.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will open the season Friday at the Casper invitational.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team heads to Cheyenne to start their season at a big invitational tournament.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles open their volleyball season at a tournament in Douglas and the Big Horn Lady Rams will be at a tournament in Lingle.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies lost 5-3 at Coors field last night against San Francisco. They play again tonight you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio Rockies on deck starts at 6:05 the first pitch is at 6:40

BRONCOS - The Denver Broncos host the Phoenix Cardinals tomorrow night at mile high you can hear the game live on 14-10 KWYO, Bronco pregame at 5:05 kickoff is at 7:00.
