BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team had a bad stretch of 5:50 at the end of the 2nd Quarter with two turnovers, as Casper Kelly Walsh turned a 13-6 deficit into a 28-13 halftime lead. The Broncs would not recover in the 42-20 loss to open the season Friday.

BRONC FOOTBALL - Casper Kelly Walsh scored three times in the final 5:50 of the first half to pull away from the Sheridan Broncs and win the season opener at Homer Scott Stadium 42-20. Two critical Bronc turnovers late in the half ended up being their demise. Next Friday, the Broncs play on the road at Cheyenne East.

SC VOLLEYBALL - Sheridan College volleyball coach Jonea Rima has two sophomores and a bunch of talented freshmen on this year's squad. They leave today to open their season at a tournament in Lamar, Colorado.

SHS GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc golfers picked up their 2nd team win of the season by winning the Gillette Invitational yesterday. The Broncs totaled 616, out-distancing 2nd place Riverton by 13 shots. Two Broncs finished in the Top 10: Kamerin Allen was 2nd and Cameron Lindell was 9th. Next up for the Broncs is the Laramie Invitational which will be played today and tomorrow.
