GENERALS FALL HARD AT HOME

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals lost at home against Eastern Wyoming Tuesday night in overtime 91-82.

The Generals fall to 6-2 they led the whole game until they gave the game away. With three seconds to play and leading 70-68 the Generals turned the ball over and committed a foul.

Eastern converted two free throws to tie the game at 70 then blew the Generals out in overtime, after the loss Head coach Steve Smiley says that's as bad a loss as any team can take.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals play at home tonight against Eastern Wyoming tip off is at 6:00 we will broadcast the action for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The Generals are 6-1 overall coming off an impressive weekend which saw them win two games against two very good JUCO programs in the region Head coach Steve Smiley.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals split their weekend tournament games, they blew out Salish-Kootenai 107-46 on Friday and dropped a 51-48 game against Eastern Wyoming Saturday.

They sit at 6-2 as they get ready to host the Lions club Thanksgiving tournament Friday and Saturday.

The Generals picked up to impressive road wins over the weekend they beat Northeastern Junior college from Sterling, Colorado 73-62 and Williston, North Dakota 82-77 to run their record to 6-1 overall.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL - The latest Wyoming Cowgirl basketball recruit made it official Friday, Sheridan Lady Bronc Hailey Ligocki will signed her national letter of intent to play for the Cowgirls next year in a ceremony at Sheridan high school

We talked with Ligocki back on November 1st when she made her verbal commitment to the Cowgirls and she talked about her decision to go the the University of Wyoming.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 3-0 after beating South Dakota 71-51 Thursday night.

They continue play tonight in their tournament against Southern university you can hear the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM pregame will start at 7:30 with tip at 8:00 as the second game of our college basketball double header tonight

COWBOY / COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 2-0 after Leonard Washington went for 17 and 10 against North Carolina-Central Wednesday night in a 73-60 Pokes victory.

They continue play tonight in their own tournament against South Dakota you can hear the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM Pregame will start at 6:30 with Tip at 7:00.

Tomorrow we will have a Cowgirl / Cowboy double header for you the Cowgirls play Denver University at 5:00 and Pokes take on Southern University at 8:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

SC BASKETBALL / COWBOYS IN ACTION TONIGHT

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball team are preparing for another weekend of tournament games.

The Lady Generals are coming off a three game trip to Colorado Springs and will host a two day event Friday and Saturday Head coach Frank McCarthy says the games in Colorado Springs did them a lot of good.

They will host a tournament this weekend sponsored by the McCoy Agency of Sheridan.

LADY BRONCS LOOK TO CONTEND IN 2012-13

LADY BRONC HOOPS - The high school winter sports season got started yesterday. The Lady Broncs took the court first after school Head coach Sean Yeager says they are under the gun getting ready for the regular season opener on the 30th.

And Yeager says the 30th isn't far off and they need to be ready as soon as possible for the opener.

They return the core of the team especially in the back court and Yeager says they expect a very good season is coming for the Lady Broncs.
