SHS VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team hopes to get some positive results on the road this weekend in Cheyenne. They play at Central tomorrow and East Saturday, and they feel confident they can start to turn the season around. Next week, the Lady Broncs will play at the Casper Invitational tournament. The next home match will be against Gillette Tuesday, September 29th.

TR / BH VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles will play their Homecoming match tomorrow. Prior to the Eagles' football game, the Lady Eagles host Moorcroft at noon.

The Big Horn Lady Rams host Wright in their Homecoming game tomorrow evening. Before the Rams' football game, the varsity match will be played at 4 o'clock.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan College Lady Generals dropped a 4-game match at Rocky Mountain College Tuesday night. Saturday they get back into Wyoming Conference play, hosting Casper College. Match time is 3 o'clock.

TR / BH FOOTBALL - In local football, the Tongue River Eagles and Big Horn Rams play Homecoming games tomorrow. The Eagles host Moorcroft tomorrow at 2 o'clock; we will have that game for you live on AM 1410 KWYO. The broadcast begins at 1:45 with the First Federal Pre-game Show. It will be the first game for the Eagles at the new football facility at Tongue River High School.

The Rams host Wright tomorrow night; the game will be played at Homer Scott Stadium, with kick-off set for 7 o'clock. Next week both teams play on the road; the Eagles will play at Burns and the Rams will play at Glenrock.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs play at Rock Springs tomorrow. The 2-1 Broncs have won two straight, and are coming off last week's big victory over Green River. Rock Springs is 0-3. We will have the broadcast for you tomorrow night starting at 6:30, with the First Federal Pre-game Show at 6:30 and kick-off at 7 o'clock on AM 1410 KWYO.

NSI FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves will play at home Saturday night against Upton. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 o'clock.

UW - The Wyoming Cowboys play at CU Saturday, and the game will be broadcast live on KWYO. The Pokes are 1-1; the Buffalos are 0-2. The Cowboy pre-ame show starts at 12:30, with kickoff at 1:30.

NFL - Sunday afternoon the Denver Broncos will try to make it two straight wins to start the season. They host the Cleveland Browns; the Browns lost against Minnesota last week, while the Broncos got a miracle win at Cincinnati. Bronco pre-game starts Sunday at 1 o'clock with kickoff at 2:15. The game can be heard live on AM 1410 KWYO.

HS GOLF - The Sheridan High School golfers open play at the Casper Invitational today. The tournament concludes tomorrow, and is the final tournament of the regular season. Next week, the Broncs will look to defend their 2008 State Title -- the State Golf Championships will be played in Cheyenne.

The Tongue River and Big Horn golfers close out their regular season with a 2-day tournament in Lusk tomorrow and Saturday. They play at their State Tournament in Hulett next week.

SHS CROSS-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross-country teams host the “Michelle Ludwig” Sheridan Invitational Saturday. Early races begin at 11 o'clock.

SHS TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams host matches with Powell tomorrow at 4 o'clock and Saturday morning against Cody beginning at 10 o'clock.

SHS SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers are on the road tomorrow. They dual at Riverton and then compete in the Riverton Invitational Saturday.

LOCAL GOLF - The 2nd Annual Matt Perkins Memorial Golf Tournament will be played Saturday at Kendrick Golf Course. The tournament is a 2-person best ball format. To register, sign up at Kendrick or call 674-8148. Proceeds go to benefit the Matt Perkins Memorial Scholarship.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE - The Sheridan College Athletic Department will hold their 2nd Annual Sports BBQ for all fans at the Hoffman Dome next Tuesday night at 5:30. The BBQ is free for all fans, and it's a great opportunity to meet the players and coaches of the volleyball and basketball teams.
