HS FOOTBALL - The #1-ranked football team in the state comes into Sheridan tomorrow night when the Broncs host Green River. The Wolves return a lot of players from last year's team that made it to the State Title game, and they are playing with a little chip on their shoulder. The Broncs are pretty much going to see the same team they saw in the semi-finals last year. Sheridan is coming off an impressive win at Cheyenne East last week that saw them break out with 56 points, and head coach Don Julian says they are ready to face Green River. We will have the game live for you on AM 1410 KWYO. The First Federal Pre-game Show starts tomorrow night at 6:30, with kickoff at 7 o'clock. You can also see the game live with another live webcast as ACT joins with us again this week to bring you the action. We have a special link to the game on our website sheridanmedia.com.

The Tongue River Eagles will be on the road tomorrow at Glenrock; the game will kick off at 6 o'clock, and we will broadcast the game live on our sister station 95.9 FM. Ron Richter will have the play-by-play.

The Big Horn Rams will make the long road trip to Burns tomorrow; it's a re-match of last year's Atate 2-A title game. And the NSI Wolves will also make a long trip to play at Pine Bluffs.

RUNNING - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc cross-country runners compete in Gillette tomorrow. Next Saturday, they host the Michelle Ludwig Sheridan Invitational.

SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Gillette tonight for a dual. It's their only action this week; next Tuesday they have their first home dual when they host Buffalo.

NFL - The Denver Broncos open the NFL season at Cincinnati Sunday. You can hear it live on KWYO with Bronco pre-game at 10 am and kick-off at 11 o'clock.

MLB - The Colorado Rockies beat Cincinnati last night 4-3. The Rockies have won 8 of their last 9 games, and now lead San Francisco by 4 games in the National League wild card race. The Rockies are 62-32 since Jim Tracy took over as manager in early June when they were 15 1/2 games out of first place; they now trail the Dodgers by 2 1/2 games. They conclude the series with Cincinnati this afternoon. Then this weekend the Rockies play at San Diego, followed by three at San Francisco next week.
