BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs head to Evanston for Week 7 action tomorrow. The Broncs are one of three teams at 5-1, along with Green River and Cheyenne Central. All three have qualified for the play-offs and now are playing for the regular season title and top seeds for the playoffs. The top two seeds get the home field advantage through the quarter-final and semi-final playoff rounds.
Tomorrow we will broadcast the Broncs and the Red Devils for you on AM 1410 KWYO starting with the First Federal Pre-game Show at 6:30 we'll kick it at 7 o'clock.
The four State Championship games will be played at War Memorial Stadium at the University of Wyoming Friday and Saturday, November 13th and 14th. On Friday, the 1-A title game will be played at 11:30 am and the 2-A title game at 2 o'clock. Saturday the 14th, the 3-A title game will be played at 10:30 am, followed by the 6-Man Championship at 1 pm and the 4-A Final at 3:30.
RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams host Moorcroft tomorrow. We will broadcast the game live on KWYO. The First Federal Pre-game Show will start at 12:45 with the kick-off at 1 pm. The game will be played at Homer Scott Stadium, and Ron Richter brings you the play-by-play.
EAGLES / WOLVES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and NSI Wolves play road games tomorrow night. The Eagles play at Newcastle, and whoever wins will pick up their first win of the season. Both teams have lost four games against common opponents, but Newcastle has only scored 37 points all season and has been shutout twice.
NSI is smarting after being blown out 67-8 by Southeast last Friday. Tomorrow night they play at Lingle. The Wolves are also looking for their first win of the season and it won't be easy; Lingle is 5-0 the only unbeaten team in the Conference.
UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys host New Mexico Saturday afternoon. The Cowboys are 3-2 overall, 1-0 in Conference play and they've won two straight. You can hear the game live on AM 1410 KWYO Cowboy Pregame will start at 11 o'clock with kick-off at noon.
CROSS-COUNTRY - The Broncs and Lady Broncs are heading north today for a meet in Helena, Montana. It's the final meet of the regular season. Next week, Sheridan is the site for the North 4-A Regional Race. The Wyoming State Championships will be held in Sheridan October 24th.
VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Broncs will play at Laramie tomorrow and Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday.
The Big Horn Lady Rams play at home tonight against Moorcroft; the varsity match is scheduled for 7 o'clock. They play at Wright tomorrow.
The Tongue River Lady Eagles will play two on the road Saturday: they're at Sundance in the afternoon and at Moorcroft in the evening.
The Sheridan College Lady Generals play at Dawson Community College in Glendive, Montana tonight before heading to Williston, North Dakota for a tournament tomorrow and Saturday.
ROCKIES / MLB PLAY-OFFS - The Colorado Rockies opened the NLDS yesterday in Philadelphia. The Phillies took Game 1 with a score of 5-1. Game 2 is this afternoon at 12:30; you can hear it live on our HD Sports Station 93.7 FM HD Channel 2.
Last night the Los Angeles Dodgers beat St. Louis 5-3 in the other National League Division Series. Game 2 today begins at 4 o'clock.
The New York Yankees beat Minnesota 7-2 in the opener of their American League Division Series. Game 2 will be played tomorrow. And the other American League series starts tonight with the Los Angeles Angels hosting the Boston Red Sox; game time is 7:30.
