LADY RAMS STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams open the State Volleyball Tournament tonight at the Casper Events Center.They enter play as the two-time defending champs.Jamie Harvey took over this fall as head coach; she says they had a great regular season to set them up with a high seedin the post-season. With big time tournament experience,the Lady Rams are a well-seasoned team.They play Riverside in their first round match tonight. The Lady Rams didn't play the Lady Rebels during the regular season, but saw them playearly in the year. The Lady Rams are one of a few teams considered to be contenders for the State Title.Harvey says they will have to play well to get backto the Title match.

BIG HORN PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Big Horn football team heads to Greybull to open the playoffs tomorrow.They ended the season with a 5-3 record,and head coach Bert Dow says they had a good run.Now it's on to see what they can do in the postseason.

The Buffs beat the Rams during the regular season; it was the first game of the year in a low scoring game -- Greybull won 7-6. Both teams know each other very well.

SHERIDAN PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs open the playoffs tomorrow night at Homer Scott Stadium. he Broncs beat NC 35-28 last Friday to end the regular season on an 8-game winning streak.Head coach Don Julian says one big factor to the Broncs'success so far has been great team leaders.

Tomorrow night they play the Mustangs again in the Quarter Finals, and the intensity of the regular season gets even hotterwhen the Playoffs begin. We will have the game for you on our sister station AM 1410 KWYO tomorrow night with the First Federal pregame Show at 6:30.

Violators will be ticketed.

Ticket prices for the game have been set by the High School Activities Association.They are $4 for adults and $2 for students and children.Tickets can be purchased at the high school in the main office, and they will also be sold at the gate Friday night.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Utah Saturday night; you can hear the game on KWYO. The Cowboy pregame Show will start at 5 o'clock, with kick-off at 6 o'clock.

NFL - The Denver Broncos play at Baltimore Sunday; broadcast time is at 10 am, with kickoff at 11 on KWYO.

MLB - The World Series got underway last night at Yankee Stadium.Philadelphia took Game 1 6-1. Chase Utley hit two solo home runs,and Cliff Lee was dominating on the mound, allowing six hits, one unearned run and 10 strike-outs.Game 2 is tonight at 6 o'clock.
