LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc basketball team is coming off their impressive upset over #1-ranked Gillette as they get ready to play at the Cheyenne schools. Head coach Derek Bissitt says it was the kind of game the Lady Broncs can build on.
Bissitt says now the Lady Broncs need to prove to the rest of the league they can go out on the road and play the same way. They play at new #1 Cheyenne East tomorrow and at Central Saturday afternoon.
BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs host Cheyenne East tomorrow night and Central Saturday. Head coach Mike Ibach says the Broncs are shaking off last week's loss at Gillette and getting re-focused on the task of playing two good teams this week.
Bronc senior Austin Woodward says they learned a good lesson in Gillette, and are looking forward to seeing the Camels again in a couple of weeks.
UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys got blasted by UNLV last night at home 78-50. The Rebels jumped out to a 13-point halftime lead and cruised in the second half. The Cowboys fall to 9-13 overall and 2-6 in Conference play. Next up is a road game at Colorado State Saturday night.
BIG HORN / TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams play home games tomorrow. The Rams and Lady Rams host games with Moorcroft, while the Eagles and Lady Eagles host Sundance.
Saturday the Eagles play at Rocky Mountain and the Lady Eagles play at home against the Grizzlies.
GENERALS AND LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan College basketball teams will play at Eastern Wyoming tomorrow, and the Generals head to Cheyenne Saturday for a game with Laramie County.
BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers end their regular season this week. They host duals with Riverton and Cody tomorrow and compete at an invitational in Gillette Saturday. Next week, they compete in the North Conference meet in Gillette.
BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers have a dual in Riverton tomorrow and compete in the annual “Ron Thon” Riverton Invitational tournament Saturday.
SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL TRACK - The Bronc and Lady Bronc Indoor track teams have a meet in Chadron, Nebraska Saturday.
