LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs are three days into their holiday practice schedule. Head coach Derek Bissitt says the players are working hard to stay sharp.
They've won six out of seven to start the season; Bissitt says a team with several inexperienced varsity players has done a good job of learning and being coachable in their first varsity games.
They have a good record and they've beaten some good opponents, but they also must continue to put in the tough practices to realize their full potential.
The Broncs and Lady Broncs restart the season a week from today with games in Riverton; they open up with Star Valley with games at 6:00 and 7:30. All games next week will be broadcast live on AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM.
BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc Wrestlers host Casper Kelly Walsh in a dual next Friday. Bronc 140-pound senior Devan Reilly ended his Junior season finishing 3rd at the State Championships last February. He says the Broncs got their season off to a good start.
They host Conference rival Kelly Walsh in a dual at Sheridan High School next Friday. Reilly says they expect it will be a good match with the Trojans.
JV wrestling will get underway at 5:00; the varsity matches are set to begin at 6:00.
TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles play at Moorcroft next Friday, and then are at home with Lovell Saturday. The Lady Eagles will join the Eagles in Moorcroft, and will also play on the road at Lovell Saturday.
