SUMMER'S OVER?  FALL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS START TODAY

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs open week two today, they had an excellent week of practice last week and Head coach Don Julian says the players put in some good time on the field and begin to refine practices this week.

The mock game and pre-game run through Friday will be open to the public and then it's into game week.

The Broncs play at Casper Kelly Walsh Friday August 27th we begin season long live coverage of Bronc football on our sister stations AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

The First Federal Savings Bank Pre-game show will lead off the broadcast at 6:30. All games will be broadcast live as well on-line at sheridanmedia.com.

Once again this season we are joining with ACT communications to bring you the live video action of Bronc home games on-line. The first home game will be September 3rd with the Broncs hosting Cheyenne East.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles first practice football will be this morning at 6:00 at the middle school field in Ranchester.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams will open Monday morning at the Big Horn Equestrian center.

BRONC AND LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will have their first practice this afternoon at 1:00 at Kendrick golf course.

BRONC AND LADY CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school Cross Country teams meet this morning at 7:00 at the high school to begin their pre-season conditioning program.

BRONC AND LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc Tennis teams open this afternoon at 4:00 at the high school courts.

LADY BRONC SWINMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers open practice at 4:00 this afternoon at the Junior high pool.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc Volleyball team starts “two-a-days” this morning at 6:30 at the high school, the evening practice schedule next week will be at 6:00.

LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team is hosting a youth volleyball camp today through Wednesday in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college. The camp is open to all 9-12 year old girls.

The cost of the three day camp is 75 dollars they will take registration before the camp opens this morning. The camp will run each day from 8:00 to 10:00.

SRD MEN'S SOFTBALL - The Sheridan Recreation District ends it's summer softball league play tonight at the softball complex at Sheridan college. The city men's championship game will be played tonight as the team from Tongue River Stone plays Budweiser for the title. The first game will start at 6:30 the “Bud” boys have to win the first game to force a deciding game at 7:40.
