SUMMER IS OVER MONDAY FOR SHERIDAN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES

TONGUE RIVER FOOTBALL - Tongue River high school football coach Chuck Walters will have the Eagles player/parent meeting tonight at 6:30 in the Tongue River high school Commons, players are asked to bring insurance numbers and proof of sports physicals to the meeting.

The Eagles first practice will be Monday morning at 6:00 at the middle school field in Ranchester.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball players/ parent meeting will be this evening at 6:00 in the Big Horn gym.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL FALL SPORTS - Sheridan high school golf will have their first practice Monday afternoon at 1:00 at Kendrick golf course. Sheridan high school Cross Country will open Monday morning at 7:00 they meet at the high school.

The Bronc and Lady Bronc Tennis teams open Monday afternoon at 4:00 at the high school courts.

And the Lady Bronc Volleyball team will open “two-a-days” Monday morning at 6:30 at the high school, the evening practice schedule next week will be at 6:00.

LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals Volleyball team will host a youth volleyball camp next week Monday through Wednesday in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college. The camp is open to all 9-12 year old girls.

The cost of the three day camp is 75 dollars they will take registration before the game opens Monday morning. The camp will run each morning from 8:00 to 10:00.

NFL - The Denver Broncos open their four game preseason schedule Sunday with a game at Cincinnati. We will have it for you live on AM 14-10 KWYO. Broadcast time Sunday will be at 4:00.

SHERIDAN RECREATION DISTRICT - The Sheridan Recreation District is wrapping up it's summer adult softball leagues with tournament play this week. They have already crowned two Co-Rec league champions including the First Interstate Bank team winning their championship last night.

Tonight another Co-Rec league will crown and champion and the city Men's league title will be played either Friday or next Monday.

Adult Recreation Specialist Dale Boedecker says the season is almost over at the district gets ready to open some of their fall programs.

The numbers were up in teams for the summer softball leagues and besides a wet early season they had a good summer.

One of the Rec District fall programs coming up is the adult flag football league registration begins next week.
